Who we are
Ahimsa is built by Bionomic. Write to hello@bionomic.io about anything on this page.
What we collect
The email you give us, the phone you use, the language of the page, your time zone, and the ad or link that brought you here, if any. If you answer the survey, we keep your answers.
Why
To confirm your email, invite you to the beta through Apple TestFlight, write to you about the beta, and understand what people need from Ahimsa. Survey answers are only ever read in aggregate or by the team building the app.
Diets and allergies
Answers about diets and allergies can count as health information. We only keep them if you tick the box that asks, and they are never used for advertising.
In the app: usage data
The app records which screens and features you use, so we know what to fix and build next. It stays on our own servers and is not shared with anyone else. It never includes your name, email, phone, address, or what your profile says about your diet, allergies or nutrition. In Spain we only record it if you agree. In Mexico and the United States it is on until you turn off “Improve the app” in Profile › Privacy.
In the app: campaign measurement
Separately, we can note which campaign or ad brought you to Ahimsa. In Spain and the United States we only do this if you turn on “Measure campaigns” in Profile › Privacy. In Mexico it is on until you turn it off there. In the same place you can erase your usage data at any time.
Who else sees it
Apple receives your email to send the TestFlight invite. If you came from a Meta ad and tick that box, Meta receives a scrambled (hashed) version of your email, which tells it the ad worked. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Until you leave the list, or until the beta and the work it feeds no longer need it.
Your choices
Every email we send has a link that deletes your email and answers at once. You can also write to us to see, correct or delete what we hold.
